1) What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Click Work Tracker (“the App”) processes, how we use it, and your choices. The App lets you track work/earnings and (when signed in) sync your data to our cloud database hosted by Supabase.
2) Data we collect & why
a) Account & authentication data
- Email address (required to create an account).
- Display name / profile photo (if your identity provider shares it; e.g., Google/Apple sign-in).
Purpose: create and secure your account; let you sign in on multiple devices; communicate about your account.
b) App content you provide
- Work entries (platform, hours, pay, notes, tags) and settings.
Purpose: show totals/reports, sync across devices, enable export/backup.
c) Technical/diagnostic data
- Supabase service logs may include IP address, timestamps, and error details when you use the app (standard for operating a secure service).
- If you contact support, we receive the info you send (description, screenshots, logs you choose to share).
Purpose: keep the service reliable and secure; support you.
No analytics/ads SDKs today. If we add analytics or ads later, we’ll update this policy and the in-app disclosures before enabling them.
3) Where your data is stored
- Cloud: We use Supabase (managed Postgres, Auth, and Storage) as our data processor. Your account and synced entries are stored on Supabase servers in the United States (unless we announce a different region).
- On device: The app also caches data locally for speed/offline use. Your OS backups (Google/Apple) may include local data if you enable device backups.
4) How we use your information
- Provide and improve the App (sync, totals, CSV export, settings).
- Authenticate you and protect accounts (fraud/security).
- Communicate service messages (e.g., critical updates).
- Future: If we add in-app purchases (e.g., Remove Ads), we’ll use Google Play/Apple to process payments and only store purchase status to unlock features.
5) Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (currently: Supabase for auth/database/storage).
- Platform billing providers (Google/Apple) when you make a purchase (future).
- Legal: if required to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights/safety.
6) Your choices & rights
- Access, edit, delete entries: inside the App.
- Export: CSV export (when available).
- Delete account: from the in-app account screen (if available) or email [email protected] from your account email and request deletion. Deleting your account removes cloud-stored personal data associated with that account (backups/logs may persist for a limited time as described below).
- Email preferences: you can opt out of non-essential emails; we may still send critical service notices.
Residents of certain regions (e.g., EEA/UK/California) may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection). Contact us to exercise them—we’ll respond as required by law.
7) Retention
- Cloud data: kept while your account is active. If you delete entries or your account, we remove production records; system backups and logs may retain limited information for a limited retention window (needed for security/continuity) after which they are purged.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed for record-keeping and compliance.
8) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including:
- Transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and Supabase.
- Database/storage provided by Supabase with at-rest protections and role-based access.
No security is perfect; please keep your device and login credentials safe and up to date.
9) Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child used the App with an account, contact us and we’ll delete the data.
10) International users
Your data is processed in the United States (and wherever our service providers operate). By using the App, you understand your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in those locations. If we change regions or add EU hosting, we’ll update this policy.
11) Changes
We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example, if we add IAP or ads, or change processors). We’ll post updates here and, if changes are material, provide an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
